TriangGULO (Chapter 1)

ok. So here it goes:

Nothing's permanent in this world. Your life, your home, your family, your friends, the things you own and even this world. Lahat ng mga nabanggit ko mawawala lahat. True? So true! But I think, God is not the only one who is permanent in this world. I guess the other one is my love that I feel for my best friend. Allow me to clear it to you, I'm kinda bisexual. And I am falling for my best friend who is now set to kill me.
I am Clarissa Canlas. Want to hear the story before I die?

"Tanggap ka na. You will start tomorrow. Don't forget our deal. We'll pay for your studies, 3,000 pesos per month for your allowance and maintain your grades. Kapag nagawa mo ang deal natin ng maayos, we might pay your tuition fees on college," my daddy, Engineer Claro Canlas and the owner of his ancestral company, was giving his short briefing to Lorraine. "Dapat 10pm tapos na lahat ng tasks mo dito. Better if you'll finish it earlier so that you will have enough time for you studies. Clear?"
"Yes sir," and that was my first time to hear her voice. Lorraine dela Cruz is her name. Average height, her left eye is or WAS blind and halata mong mahirap lang sila. Yes she's smart, she can act, dance, sing, play the guitar and a bit drums. She's a member kasi ng performing arts.
"You may now take a rest. Anak," my daddy is now talking to me, "pakisamahan nga siya sa maid's quarters. Para naman magkakilala kayo. Anyway, you're gonna be schoolmates or maybe classmates in this coming school year." Then, I accompanied her to the maid's quarters.
I don't know how to talk to her. I don't know what topic I'm about to start with. When she suddenly asked me, "aren't you bored inside this house?" Gosh! English speaking siya! Then I suddenly realized that she's smart. Kasi as far as I know konti lang yung fluent sa English na mahirap.
"Boring of course. Lalo na, my parents aren't always around here and I don't have siblings. At least, I have you now," she gave me a strange look, "why?"
"Sorry to say but, I'm not your possession to say that you have me now. Is this my room for now?"
I, who was shocked, nodded my head. "Cool!" I said in a low voice.
Then she stared at me. Yung stare na feeling mo malulusaw ka. Ayun nakipag-tinginan lang ako sa kanya when my father suddenly came.
"I forgot to say. Tomorrow sumama ka sa amin ni Clarissa sa school kung saan ka mag-aaral. 8am ng umaga ang alis. So maglinis ka na lang ng bahay bukas. The rest, you'll just finish it after we got here. Clarissa, wag ka na'ng magpa-gising ha! You have to know the basics here at house, ok? Time to sleep. Don't be late for bed." Then, my dad left us.
"Pwede ba makipag-chit chat sa'yo? I'm not yet sleepy eh," again, yung nakakalusaw na titig na naman.
"Whatever you want," then we entered her room-to-be.
She put her luggage beside her bed. After that, humiga siya sa kama niya and she asked me if, "gusto mong umupo?" So I seated at the left side of her bed-to-be.
She's so quiet and mysterious. So I asked her a lot of questions like what's her full name, how did she became fluent in English and a lot more.
"I came from Batangas. Napunta ako dito because I want to support my studies. I'll admit it, I won't be here kung di lang nalugi yung negosyo nung tito ko. I was able to study at a popular school in Batangas because of him. Kaso yun nga, nalugi yung company niya dahil nalulong siya sa drugs."
"If you don't mind, what happened?" sabay turo ko sa left eye niya.
"Eto?" sabay turo din sa left eye niya, "natusok ng lapis. Di naagapan. Eto ngayon, habang buhay na akong bulag kung di ako mag-sisipag." Moment of silence occurred. Bigla siya ulit nag-salita, "Matulog ka na. Aalis tayo bukas."
"Ok. Goodnight! I hope to know more about you tomorrow onwards," I came closer to her and kissed her cheek. A friendly kiss to make it clear. I saw a shock on her face. Maybe di siya sanay na makipag-beso beso. Anyway, I left her and closed the door. I went straight to my room and said goodnight to God.

The next day, maaga akong nagising. Around 6:45 am. I took a bath, brushed my teeth and chose my clothes to wear. After my own ceremony, I immediately went downstairs to eat my breakfast. By the way, her name is Marissa. Kaya naging Clarissa yung name ko is because it's the portmanteau of my parents' name.
"Ano ka ba! Quarter to eight na o! What time did you wake up?" sabay subo sa bacon which I think was prepared by Lorraine.
"Quarter to 7 po," biglang dating ni Lorraine na may dalang pitsel na may juice.
"Alam mo na ngang aalis kayo. Ang bagal mo pa man ding kumain!" my mom angrily said.
"Mom, it's vacation kasi eh. I guess nanibago lang po ako ulit," ang bilis maka-isip ng sasabihin yung mama ko.
"So ganun na lang yon? Daig ka pa ni Lorraine! Walang alarm clock nagigising agad! Madami pa yang ginawa pero naunahan ka pa niyang makapagbihis!"
"Mom, Lorraine is Lorraine. I am me. So stop comparing us," I looked at my father who was irritated.
"Stop that! Clarissa I hope that this is a lesson for you. Kumain ka na!" nagbasa siya ulit ng dyaryo but suddenly put it down and said to me, "and make it faster!"

At that time, I really hated all. My mom for scolding me, my dad who also scolded me, the maids for not waking me up and Lorraine who came into my life and was compared to me which I hated the most.
