TriangGULO (Chapter 20)

It's party! And it's my first party with Lorraine. After the celebration at Collins Residence, the three of us agreed to have a party at a bar nearby. There we enjoyed. But a hurtful thing happened.
"Tara na Lorraine. Minsanan lang 'to!" I told Lorraine. Everyone was partying but she's just sitting on the couch. Kung di pa makikisama si Luke sa paghatak eh malamang di talaga siya sasama.
It's a happy song. So the three of us can dance. We formed a circle and danced around. As the music ended, the next song played was a love song. The three of us stared. Yung tulad nung nangyari sa bench after the play. I was staring at Lorraine, she gazing at Luke and Luke on me.
"Maupo na lang tayo mabuti pa," Luke said. I understand his part. Siya lang mag-isang lalake sa amin so it's torturing him kung sino ang pipiliin.
"Hindi," said Lorraine still looking at Luke, "kayo na lang. Pagod ako eh. Sige." Umalis siya but you can see it to her na parang gusto niyang isayaw si Luke.
Luke took my hands and put it around his neck and he put his hands to my waist. We swayed as the music goes on. I can't stare at him because I don't want. I felt it that he's not staring at me also.
"Pwede mo naman siyang isayaw eh. Hindi naman mahahalata kasi you're close with her diba?" he said and finally he looked at me.
"Ewan ko kung kaya ko pa. Mabuti na rin 'tong hindi ko siya kasayaw. Baka di ko pa mapigilan ang sarili ko." I didn't looked at him.
"Can I ask you something?" I can't see his honest eyes.
"You're already." I looked at him and gave him a devilish smile.
He smiled at me. "Are you really sure that you have feelings for her?"
"More sure than sure. Pero nakakainis, alam kong parehas kami kaya di ko masabi. Lagi na lang chansing ang ginagawa ko. Sometimes, I wanted to hug her and say how much I love her."
"Pa'no yung mga tao around you? Anong-" I interrupted him.
"Wala akong pakialam. Kahit masaktan ako. Mahal ko siya eh." I hugged him and continued on speaking, "Maswerte ka. Lalake ka. Pwede mong sabihin sa kanya kung gusto mo siya. All I can say, you will be lucky if you have her." I stopped hugging him to look at his eyes, "But I'm warning you, I'm not letting her go. I won't give her to you without telling her that I love her the most. Tawagin mo na akong selfish, basta ba I'm satisfied."
He smiled again. A smile of disappointment, "I'm not lucky." Paused. "I can't win the girl that I love and cherishes the most." He bowed his head.
"Ganito na lang, "I was cheering him up, "para quits tayo, tulungan mo ako pero syempre sabihin mo sa akin-" nahawa yata siya sa ugali ko. He interrupted me.
"Hindi pwede!" His face was full of shock.
"Bakit?"
"Ah... Uhm...... Kasi.... Oo, tama! Si Lorraine nagpapatulong na kasi ako sa kanya," he sighed in relief.
"Ayaw mo nun? Dalawa na kami? Isa pa, magiging super close kami nun. You promised me that you'll help me to win her, right?"
The music had ended. I think he was escaping to the topic. So he said, "Tapos na yung music. Do you mind if we're going to take our seats for now?"
"Kung nasa'n si Lorraine, sige!" he escorted me.

Hindi ko napansing medyo nasasaktan na pala siya nung mga oras na yun. Kung di pa sasabihin sa akin ni Lorraine one time. Do you know how it happened?
Lorraine, are you still reading this? Sa kabila ng lahat ng nangyari, may pwesto pa ba ako sa puso mo? Kahit kaibigan na lang masaya na ako. Natuto na akong maging kuntento eh.
