TriangGULO (Chapter 5)

It's Saturday! And what's with Saturday? Party! But unluckily, I can't come. Argh! And you know why? Because of that stupid Lorraine (hey! Clarissa, stop calling her stupid. You're the one who's stupid!). Sinumbong niya ako kay Daddy. She caught me escaping. Cause I know that my parents won't allow me to party. Classes are soon that's what they told me. And I have to study in advance. I'm sick of studying! I really wanted to finish my high school life so that I'll be alone on my college life. But again, Lorraine changed that.
I went to her room and scolded her. I slammed the door and, "Damn you! Asar ka! Ba't mo ako sinumbong?" I forgot to close the door so I did it.
"English 78, Mathematics 75, Science 76. Ayaw mo bang patabain ang vital statistics ng card mo?" she hid something under her pillow. A notebook. Anyway, I'm not interested to it. I'm really irritated.
"Stupid boastful! Bakit ikaw?" Napapaiyak na ako sa inis. Ganun talaga ako pag naiinis.
"A moment please," she went to the drawer at the left corner of her little room. Opened it and took out her report card. She showed it to me without uttering any single word.
"Anong gagawin ko dito?"
"Common sense," pointing her head three times.
I take a look. You want to know what I see? English 98, Mathematics 97, Science 98, Filipino 95 and Makabayan 96. God! Is she still sleeping? Is she cheating? I suddenly remembered that she has an I.Q of 130. Ang hangin niya, sobra! "So, is this how you boast?"
"You asked me what's my grade. It's not boasting. It's just granting simple wishes," she took her card and returned it to the drawer. She stood straightly and crossed her arms, "I want you to improve yourself. Time will come and you have to be alone. You have to ready yourself at all times. You can't always trust your talents. You have to trust your thoughts first. Can you leave me alone? The night's getting deeper. Both of us need a good sleep. Aalis tayo bukas di ba?"
"Oo nga pala," I left her as fast as I could. I'm afraid to get scolded again. One is enough, two is much, three is dangerous and four is deadly.

We left home at 9am. We headed to Mall of Asia. We bought school stuffs, ate, played a little bit and watched movie. But it seems like a family day for the three of us. Lorraine was just watching us. Kaya nung na-solo ko siya I asked her, "Sorry pala about last night. You just made me irritated," giving her a sign of peace.
"I hope you learned," then I saw a smile. A hopeful smile.
"By the way, why aren't you joining us when we played?" I asked her.
"I don't belong to your family."
"It's not because you're one of our maids. It's because you're with us," I smiled back.
"You're very lucky to have your family. Let's go?" sabay offer sa akin ng arms niya. Yung ginagawa ng mga boys kapag i-eescort nila kaming mga girls.
It's been a great day ahead. I became excited for 4th year. And I still don't know why.
