TriangGULO (Chapter 15)

The day for the play has come. Luke said that he's going to fetch me. But then, it's not him that I'm waiting. I'm waiting for Lorraine. It's Wednesday but she's not around. She told me that she'll be staying in our house every Wednesday. It's the first time that she broke a promise. It's the only time that I'm going to be with her, but then she's not here teaching me. I miss her scent, voice, hands and of course, her eyes. Though the other one is blind. It makes me melt away.
Luke arrived on time. 1 minute advanced to be specific. He's wearing a casual dress that matches mine. He escorted me to his car and left for the play.
We arrived at the theater house on time. The play is about to start. We went inside and didn't bothered chit-chatting with people cause actually, it's Mrs. Aquino whom we know.
The play is indeed great. I enjoyed but only half. The other half is sadness. Sadness cause Lorraine wasn't sitting next to me. Irritation because I was sitting next to Luke because he's the person that makes me jealous. Err. Sadness also because I really know that Lorraine wanted to go and watch it. But then, she sacrificed the play for me. We both admitted that we wanted to go and watch the play.
After the play, Mrs. Aquino was the first to go because she had an urgency call. Luke asked me to eat something first at the fast food nearby. We ordered burger and fries with drinks of course. We sat on the bench in front of the fast food chain where we bought our meal. We talked, laughed until it came to a point that we dared each other.
"Ikaw," I asked Luke as I took my drink and sipped it, "since nag-uusap na rin lang tayo, ano yung isang bagay na gusto mong aminin sa akin?"
"Bagay?" He paused and took a bite from his burger, "ahmm. Wag kang maingay, ha?"
"It's just between you and me," binitiwan ko yung soft drink and made a promise signal, "Promise!"
"Si.... Ahmm. Hindi ka magagalit? Kasi kaibigan mo ang tutukuyin ko."
"Depende sa'yo"
"At first, I made friends with Lorraine because I wanted to ask for her help. Courting a girl actually. But it's not you, okay?" he chuckled pero yung chuckle na tunog kabado, "But now, I'm getting closer to her." He drank from his drink and asked me, "Ikaw?"
"May tiwala ako sa'yo."
"I won't break it."
"I'm a bisexual."
"What?" he gave me a great shock. "Since when?"
"Since Lorraine entered my life," I bowed my head and just looked on the burger I was holding.
"You're.... You know what I'm.... Ahmmm.... Saying..." he said with an unsure tone.
"Yes. Whatever you're thinking is true." I lifted my head then looked at him.
"I'll understand. I'll try," then he sighed hard.
"Favor?" I asked him.
"Help you to win her?"
"You got it."
"Okay," with a low tone habang umiiling. "I..... I don't know if.... if...." a long pause.
"If you can do it?" I tried to keep my voice normal cause it's getting weary. "Please?" I almost cried.
He just looked at me when someone shouted my name.
"Clarissa!" a familiar sweet voice from afar.
Luke and I looked for that voice and we spotted Lorraine. I can see it clearly on her face that she was looking to Luke. Jealousy is present on her face. I don't know if she's jealous to me or to Luke. I looked at her but when I realized that she's looking to the guy I was with, the gut next to me was looking at me.
At that moment, I felt like the three of us was forming a triangle. Lorraine looking to Luke, Luke looking to me, and me looking at Lorraine. Now that's a love triangle.
